Description: Lot of materials with relation to the 1953 Major League Baseball Tour of Japan. Grouping of items from the personal collection of Robin Roberts who attended the Tour of Japan with Ed Lopat's All-Stars in 1953. Includes original silk embroidered photo album containing a few 9"x11" photos of the Tour; (23) individual photos (most are 8"x10") as taken on the Tour with subjects including Roberts and Berra; and a Japanese team signed baseball (unmarked); and a paper Japanese piece that appears to be a ticket with -All American Baseball Star Game" printed at the top and hand written game notations on the reverse.
