Description: Victorian canvas belt with leather dual buckle formation attributed to baseball c.1870-90s. Very fine condition grade specimen of a tan colored woven wool belt with leather dual buckle front. Impressed titling "The Universal" appears on the leather buckle area. The belt and leather appointments exhibit some age and usage wear remaining in original unrestored condition. This style of belt was the predominant type used by baseball players of the Victorian era with the offered example being one of only a scant few that we have encountered: EX
