Description: May 11, 2024 Paul Skenes autographed Major League debut base (1st base, Innings 1-2) (MLB Authentication and Fanatics). Regulation base by Rawlings has Pittsburgh Pirates/PNC Park logo medallions inset on each side. It shows nice wear and there is an MLB Authentication hologram affixed which confirms use in the Pirates vs. Cubs game played in Pittsburgh during which Paul Skenes made his Major League debut. It served as first base from innings (1) through (3) before being removed from the field. Skenes has signed the top on the marker rating 7/8 out of 10. Metal anchor remains in the back. The Pirates won what was among the more highly anticipated games in recent regular season history. Interest in Skenes related material is strong to say the least and his Topps Debut Patch card (featuring a special patch worn in this same game) sold in March of this year for over $1.1 million dollars at auction.
