Description: 1980 Steve Furness Pittsburgh Steelers professional model game used jersey - heavy use and repairs (Steelers Pro Shop provenance). Black jersey with white and gold sleeve accents has the number "64" on front, back, and shoulders. There is a "Furness" nameplate across the back. Medalist Sand-Knit "Designed & Tailored Exclusively..." tag is on the left front tail with an additional below having adjacent size (52) flag tag. Printed "80" year tag is to one side. Outstanding use and wash wear are evident throughout with many team repairs. A "Steelers Authentic Memorabilia" hologram is affixed inside (number GU-112724) and their website confirms it was "game used" during the 1980 season. Please note that the team database lists this as an Edmund Nelson jersey. Nelson joined the team in 1982 and wore the same number. Outlines can be seen of where the Nelson nameplate was removed and a period Furness was put back in its' place.
