Description: Baseball game painting on early violin case. Violin case which is constructed of wood (31" long) is hand painted with a very well done scene depicting an early baseball game in play. The case shows expected use/handling wear and there is some craquelure to the painted portion. We do not believe that the painting dates to the same period as the case but it does make for an interesting display piece: VG-EXEstimated Price Range: ($500-$750)
