Description: 1933 "Montreal Baseball Club…Most Valuable Annual Player" Sterling silver trophy. Three handled trophy cup (10.25" tall) is engraved on the front, "May 2nd 1933, Presented by Sam E. Lichtenhein to Montreal Baseball Club, To Record This Club's Most Valuable Annual Player." Another side has "Name" and "Year" engraved at the top and while it was intended for use as a perpetual trophy (awarded to a new recipient each year) it was never filled in. Stamped "Sterling" on the underside and weighs (2) pounds, (7.9) oz. Mild tarnish and light wear: EXEstimated Price Range: ($750-$1,000)
