Description:Large format Lucky Strike baseball advertising display c.1920's. Oversized 34"x43" cardboard display piece picturing Lefty Grove, Tony Lazzeri, and Harry Heilmann endorsing Lucky Strike cigarettes. The players are shown inside of a circular design with spaces around the perimeter where cigarette packages were once mounted (and there is resulting residue/surface loss in their place). Eight vintage packs of Lucky Strikes are included and could be affixed if so desired. The piece retains nice display value however there is wear throughout (of varying degrees) including surface chipping, scuffs, several nail holes, a crease or two, and some mild discoloration. There is a missing section to the upper left and the piece, at one time, had side panels affixed that are no longer present. One of only a few which we have handled and seldom offered: See description
