Description: Outstanding Jimmie Foxx single signed baseball (PSA/DNA 9 MINT). Lightly toned J.Cronin AL baseball signed by Double X in brilliant green ink on top panel/sweet spot, "To Craig Brush Regards, Jimmie Foxx". Signature presents in nearly original as signed condition rating 9 out of 10. Foxx is still regarded as one of the greatest sluggers in the history of the game who clouted 534 career home runs. His passing in 1967 at the young age of 59 is largely responsible for a scant population of single signature baseballs with the offered example among the very finest condition grade to have been offered at auction. Includes full LOA from PSA/DNA (9 MINT) and signed letter of provenance from Geddy Lee . This lot is featured in Geddy's forthcoming book "72 Stories from the Collection of Geddy Lee".
