Description: Baseball figural statue by P.Testi c.1910. Rare original bronze/copper plated figural statue depicting a 1910 era batsman in a batting stance. The statue is signed by artist "P.Testi, New York" with a foundry impression/dating by P.Mori 1910, New York". The figural retains a very fine original patina with excellent detail and features. 9 1/2" tall. The offered period statue is one of the more sought after of its type from the early 1900s and is not to be confused with the modern era bronze reproductions of a similar form: EX-MT
