Description: 1918 Christy Mathewson (and others) autographed Christmas card (PSA "NM-MT 8"). Paper stock greeting card has "Junior Officers Mess, 28th Div, Christmas-Greeting, Dec. 25th 1918" printed on the front. It is signed on the opposite side by (10) service members with "C.Mathewson" appearing across the top. His signature is done in pencil (as are all but 2 of the others) and it has been graded "NM-MT 8" by PSA. The other signers are presumably men with whom Matty served and felt a close enough bond with that he asked they join him in sending holiday greetings back home. Light general handling and age related wear with a horizontal fold. Authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA and includes Mathewson Collection certificate of provenance: Sigs. PSA NM-MT 8, Card GD
