Description: Historically significant 1922 exhibition game program with Lizzie Murphy as 1st woman to play against major leaguers. Fenway Park program from August 14th exhibition game between the Boston Red Sox and a Connie Mack led team of American League All-Stars along with Lizzie Murphy (in the 1910s became the first woman to play professional baseball). This game would be the first in which she (or any other) competed with or against major league players. Babe Ruth committed to play for her team, and is shown on the lineup page, but missed the game due to a leg injury.
