Description: Steve Carlton autographed Cleveland Indians professional model jersey c.1987. Rawlings size 44 jersey with "INDIANS" and #32 sewn on the front, along with "CARLTON" nameplate and #32 sewn on the back. Chief Wahoo logo patch is sewn on the left sleeve, and Rawlings tag is sewn inside the collar with "SET 1 1986" flag tag attached. There is evidence of nameplate and number changes which, along with the 1986 tagging, indicate that another player's 1986 jersey was used to create this jersey for Carlton when he arrived to the team in 1987. Carlton signed the jersey in black marker. Signature rates 8/9 out of 10. Light wear with some fabric pilling and minor stains on the back. Originally obtained by a collector who received items directly from players and team employees in the period. Includes JSA auction LOA (autograph), LOA from Hunt Auctions, and letter of provenance from the original recipient: EXEstimated Price Range: ($1,500-$3,000)
