Description: 1979 Philadelphia Phillies professional model Saturday Night Special "Team Blank" jersey with "Rose" nameplate. One game style as worn by the Phillies on May 19th against the Expos, and then discontinued by the team due to both player and fan complaints. Rawlings size 42 maroon zip-up jersey with "P" logo patch and #14 sewn on the front, along with "ROSE" and #14 sewn on the back. "42 79 1" strip tag is sewn on the front tail next to the Rawlings tag which has "SET 1 1979" flag tag attached. Rose signed the jersey in blue marker. Signature rates 8 out of 10. The jersey itself is an authentic "shell" jersey as manufactured by the Phillies for use and subsequently had "Rose" nameplate placed on the back for display purposes at a later date. Very rare style shirt with excellent visual appeal. Includes LOA from Hunt Auctions and a vintage 8"x10" black and white photo (with Phillies team stamp on back) showing Rose wearing his Saturday Night Special uniform which has been signed in marker rating 8 out of 10: EX-MTEstimated Price Range: ($1,000-$3,000)
