Description: 1961 Ted Wieand New York Yankees professional model home jersey (Spring Training). Pinstriped home jersey dating to the Yankees World Series Championship season was issued to Ted Wieand who had been traded to the club in April of 1960. He would join them in Spring Training but did not make the regular season roster. Jersey has an original "NY" logo on left front chest and the back number was changed to "66" (from 21). Spalding tag is on the front tail beside (44) size tag and the year "61" is chain stitched below. Wash tag is inside with adjacent "Set 1 1961" flag tag. Use and wash wear are evident throughout.
