Description: Very scarce 1950 Brooklyn Dodgers team autographed baseball with Jackie Robinson and Branch Rickey on same panel. Unused off white F.Frick NL baseball signed by (25) members of the 1950 Brooklyn Dodgers to include Jackie Robinson (twice), Gil Hodges, Roy Campanella, D.Bankhead, B.Cox, C.Labine, and P.Roe. Burt Shotton is clubhouse signed. The ball is also signed and inscribed on one of the side panels with Jackie Robinson, "To John from Branch Rickey" indicative that it was likely presented to the recipient by Rickey himself by special request. Signatures present in superlative high condition grade ranging from 8-10 out of 10. To date, we have not encountered another example of baseball signed by both Robinson and Rickey let alone on the same display panel. To find the two signatures of these iconic and important Brooklyn Dodgers men on any medium is a noted scarcity. Outstanding and unique signature baseball with relation to one of the most important duos in the history of American sports.
