Description: 1969 Chris Short autographed Philadelphia Phillies professional model road jersey. Gray flannel jersey has "Phillies" team name across the front and number "41" on back. In the collar is a "Short" embroidered strip tag. Wilson tag on the front tail notes size (44) and "1969 Set 1" is chain stitched below. On the left sleeve is an original "100th Anniversary" patch which was worn by all Major League teams. Well preserved with strong use (including a few minor stains) and wash wear evident throughout. Signed on the front tail in marker rating 7/8 out of 10. A mainstay with the Phillies for over a decade, Chris Short won (132) games for the club during his tenure which stretched from 1959 to 1972. For much of that time he was considered one of the National League's premier pitchers and he averaged (17) wins a year from 1964 through 1968.
