Description: May 12, 1956 Carl Erskine no-hitter game attributed baseball (Erskine and Augie Donatelli provenance). Well used Spalding W.Giles Official National League baseball bears faded inscription on the side panel, "Carl It couldn't happen to a better guy" and signed below "Augie" which appears to have later been enhanced. In unknown block letter print is written on adjacent panel, "May 1956 Ebbets Field No Hit No Run" along with game score. Includes signed letter of provenance from Erskine (dated 2012) stating that it was given to him by Donatelli following the game: EXEstimated Price Range: ($300-$500)
