Description: Babe Ruth autographed St. Vincent’s Hospital postcard c. 1925. Sepia tone photo postcard of the Hospital court yard autographed on the back by Babe Ruth in green ink. St. Vincent’s was the hospital where Ruth was admitted for his “stomach ache” which was later believed to be a social disease and the offered postcard was obtained directly from a nurse at the Hospital.
