Description: Spalding Official baseball box c.1883. The rarest of all Official Major League ball boxes the offered example once held an official ball as adopted by the National League in 1883. Box features (2) side panels with player litho. scenes, (2) other panels incl. partial paper stamp and Spalding National League notations. Box is in fairly good condition given age and fragility with some small tears and is missing small portion of one side panel: VG
