Description: Johnny Unitas "Outstanding Colt Player 1963" award from the Colt Corral. Wooden presentational plaque (15"x11") has a metal plate affixed on the front which is engraved, "Presented To John Unitas, Outstanding Colt Player 1963 By Colt Corral #5, February 7, 1964." An additional mounted above displays a likeness of Unitas. The Colts Corral was a long standing Baltimore organization which helped fans to support the team, players, and community, and became entrenched in the Colts culture at the time. Awards and honors bestowed by the group are among the most important as relates to both the players and team.
