Description: "Richmond Straight Cut" full cigarette box (1888 dated tax stamp) with (2) example N28 Allen & Ginter Champions cards (Box VG, Cards GD/VG and VG/EX) Full Richmond Straight Cut slide and shell box retaining original interior cigarettes and powder blue silk ribbon which ties around them. Box displays soiling to the exterior and scattered wear with some splitting to seams. Majority of original Series of 1883 stamp remains affixed which has been overstamped with 1888 date. Includes (2) 1888 N28 Allen & Ginter Champions cards: Buffalo Bill Cody with corner/edge wear and light chipping (GD/VG) and Capt. Bogardus with light corner/edge wear (VG/EX).
