Description: Rare 1888 N36 Allen & Ginter The American Indian complete set of (50) cards with display cigarette pack (Range FR-EX/MT) Exceptionally desirable complete set of the most sought after of all Allen & Ginter non-sport issues. (3) Graded: Black Hawk and Noon Day, both SGC 60 EX and Geronimo SGC 30 GD. Sitting Bull has very strong appearance with just a touch to edges/corners and (2) small imperfections on back that account for a technical downgrade. There are approx. (12) cards which we would put in the EX or better range. Approx. (12) cards have severe back damage which would place them in technical range of FR-PR however we stress for the majority of these the fronts display at far higher level. Balance of set has varying degrees of corner and edge wear with some light to moderate scattered toning. Included for display is a period clam shell box for Allen & Ginter Richmond Straight Cuts which still contains (10) period cigarettes. Box has been adhered to small wooden board thus the top/bottom are not visible and it lays flat for display.
