Description: Lot of (2) Jefferson Burdick signed letters (one mentioning T206 Wagner - "I hope you get the real dope on its scarcity") with additional Burdick correspondence (GD-EX) April 25, 1941 typewritten letter signed "J.R. Burdick" on the back of a page from one of his collecting bulletin supplements. Content includes, "I see where Edwards is offering $2.00 for Wagner in #521 but I guess that+s one he will have to want as far as you are concerned. Best you would have to be starving to death to part with your copy. I hope you can get the real dope on its scarcity..." Fold line runs horizontally down center and there is some light loss at left edge and more pronounced loss/discoloration at left; December 6, 1937 letter written composed of typed portion on front of a half sheet of paper which then has a handwritten letter on the other side. Content relates to baseball cards (referenced as No. 520 and No. 521) and also mentions fellow noted collector VanBrakle. Signed on the typed side, "J.R. Brudick." Handwritten portion mentions "two Goodwins" and some other issues. Fold lines and light toning with a small line of paper loss on back. Includes original (unsigned) mailing envelope; also includes unsigned full page typewritten letter dated July 25, 1940 whichs mentions work on the Bulletin and Supplement along with a recent illness and his interactions with some overseas collectors, (2) 1938 postmarked envelopes with his return address stamped on, another envelope from 1947, and a small paper slip on which he has stamped his address and written a list of prices (incl. Hassan Folder, Ramly, and Mecca): GD-EX
