Description: 1960 Johnny Unitas "Top Pro Football Personality of The Year" trophy. Imposing presentational trophy stands a full 25" tall with a life sized metal football at the top. This sits on a wooden pedestal with metal placard affixed reading "Johnny Unitas, Top Pro Football Personality of The Year, Florida Sports Council, Jan 30, 1960." A smaller cast metal football decoration is mounted on either side and all pieces sit on a 14"x8.5" base. Just (1) month prior to receiving this award Unitas had lead the Colts to their second consecutive NFL Championship.
