Description: 1952 Steve O'Neill Philadelphia Phillies professional model road jersey. Gray flannel button front jersey with "Phillies" team name lettered across the front in stylized logo font has number "24" on back. Chain stitched strip tag in collar reading "O'Neil - 52" denotes Manager's name and year. "Wilson" manufacturer's tag appears on front tail with adjacent wash tag (additional flag tag is washed out with no text visible). Unique custom pocket was added to the interior left chest in the period and is still present likely for cigarettes. Jersey displays evident usage and wash wear with some mild scattered discoloration (slightly more accentuated at areas) and a number of small holes.
