Rare full sized period red felt pennant has “1915” and a pair of socks within triangular white section at left. Team name “Red Sox” is done in applied block lettering across the front. Well preserved displaying a hint of light toning throughout and light to moderate scattered wear inclusive of several very small moth holes. Tastefully matted and framed to 18.25”x46” overall (light wear to frame). Substantive miniature 10 gauge brass cannon on wheeled base (rubber Firestone tires) which has raised “W.R.A. Co.” (Winchester Repeating Arms Company) logo on either side. Barrel is marked “Bellmore-Johnson” on side along with “Winchester” below. Measures approx. 17” long from extreme edge of base to tip of barrel with footprint of approx. 7.5”x12”. Housed within dovetail jointed mahogany box with affixed brass accents and placard at top that reads, “Serial #9, Presented to Ted Williams, Sears Roebuck & Co., By Winchester Western 1976.” Light expected tarnish.
