Players included are: Bushong, Reynolds, Terry, Clark, Corkhill, Clark/Hughes, Burns, Clark/Hughes, Collins, Foutz, O'Brien, Visner, Hughes, Caruthers, G.Smith, McGonnigle, and Pinkney. Clarity and contrast remains very strong with a few having some wear to edges/back of mounts. Small 4"x6 1/2" souvenir booklet featuring player portraits and biographies. Easily the finest specimen that we have encountered of this rare and desirable piece featuring a wrapped celluloid marquee picturing a baseball scene. Sign is perched atop a blown glass bowl on its' original painted cast iron base. Originality and condition grade of this piece are notably crisp with only minor surface wear to the celluloid sign and a few minor scratches to the glass decal. Manufactured by the Ad-Lee Co. in Chicago, 24" total height retaining original Eagle padlocks and their keys. If the condition and display qualities were not enough the bowl houses a group of the original gumballs preserved in fine condition for their age although slightly too dry to chew.
