| Description: Superb "E-Z Ball Gum" baseball gumball machine c.1915-20. Easily the finest specimen that we have encountered of this rare and desirable piece featuring a wrapped celluloid marquee picturing a baseball scene. Sign is perched atop a blown glass bowl on its' original painted cast iron base. Originality and condition grade of this piece are notably crisp with only minor surface wear to the celluloid sign and a few minor scratches to the glass decal. Manufactured by the Ad-Lee Co. in Chicago, 24" total height retaining original Eagle padlocks and their keys. If the condition and display qualities were not enough the bowl houses a group of the original gumballs preserved in fine condition for their age although slightly too dry to chew.
