Description: Spalding figural baseball trophy c.1920s (VG/EX) Seldom offered figural trophy is one of the most appealing of the genre standing a full 20" tall. Circular wooden base supports a large cast metal baseball which is lettered "Spalding Trophy" on the front with the company logo below. Atop is a detailed batter in swing follow through. Light wear to base with a touch of surface loss. Metal portion displays moderate tarnish. Batter's bat is slightly bent at center and a repair has been executed at the front foot to reaffix batter to base: VG/EXFinal Bid: $2,200.00
