Description: 2008 Philadelphia Phillies Starting Lineup game used and MLB Authenticated set of (8) baseball bats - All choice examples (Overall EX) Exceptional grouping of game bats representing the core of the 2008 World Series Champion Philadelphia Phillies (Ryan Howard, Chase Utley, Shane Victorino, Pedro Feliz, Carlos Ruiz, Jimmy Rollins, Pat Burrell, and Jayson Werth). All are choice and highly visual examples displaying moderate to extensive usage wear (all cracked) and date to the era (mostly 2008 or 2009). Victorino, Utley, Ruiz, and Feliz have each signed the barrel with blue marker and silver paint pen signatures rating 8 to 9 out of 10. MLB Authentication holograms affixed to each. Information stamped in knob incl. 3/16/09 production date. MLB Authentication hologram (LH 188478) on barrel end confirms it was entered in to the system on May 7, 2009 at the NY Mets. Through research, our consignor has located images of Howard playing in the May 4 game vs. St Louis with what appears to be very similar pine tar stains on his bat as he hit a grand slam (we are merely passing this information along and can not confirm that it is the same bat); Chase Utley - 32.1oz., 33.5" Marucci "Utley Custom Cut II" pro model bat with "Chase Utley" block lettered in barrel end and appropriate manuf. information stamped in knob.
