Description: 1915 William Devery signed New York Yankees stock certificate receipt. Original owner of the Yankees who purchased the club and brought them to New York as the Highlanders 1903. The offered is a stock certificate receipt for 1,266 shares of the American League Baseball Club issued to Devery just days before he sold the club to Jacob Ruppert.
