Description: Very rare 1946 Chicago White Sox at Cleveland Indians ticket stub - Veeck free admission promotion (GD). 9/25/1946 ticket stub from game played at Cleveland Stadium in which the White Sox defeated the Indians by a score of 4-1. In appreciation of fan support, Bill Veeck invited fans to attend the season's last home game admission free. Includes a vintage newspaper clipping promoting the event. The ticket has minor staple holes near the center, with minimal wear otherwise: GD
