Description: Kansas City Monarchs vs. Birmingham Black Barons advertising boardside with Satchel Paige c.1955 (Merkin Collection) (EX) Cardboard stock 14"x22.25" broadside has printed Monarchs team photograph within lower portion that includes Satchel Paige. Text advertises a game to be played between the Legendary Monarchs and Black Barons teams and coincides with one that took place on August 25, 1955. In fine overall condition with some wear confined to corners/edges that is most pronounced at lower right where there is some creasing and discoloration.
