Description: 1954 Jackie Robinson handwritten/signed letter with original (signed) mailing envelope (desirable and seldom offered playing days example) (Overall EX/MT) "Hotel Schroeder" stationery bearing handwritten letter from Jackie Robinson which covers the front and three quarters of back. Letter has a touch of age toning and typical mailing folds. Includes original envelope which is addressed in his hand and is signed "J. Robinson Dodgers" at upper left. Envelope has a bit more toning, some other discoloration, and torn right edge. Postmarked July 17, 1954 from Milwaukee and the Dodgers had that day beaten the Braves with Robinson going 1 for 4: Overall EX/MT ($2,000-$3,000)
