Description: Christy Mathewson photograph by Charles Conlon c.1912 (PSA/DNA "Type I"). Full length image of Mathewson at the height of his career with the New York Giants measures 6.5"x8.5". A handwritten notation on back by photographer Charles Conlon reads "1912." Matty and the Giants dominated the National League at the time claiming (3) consecutive pennants from 1911 to 1913. Light toning with wear largely isolated to corners which have some minor residue and/or upper surface paper loss which is the result of prior mounting. Authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA with "Type I" designation. Includes Mathewson Collection certificate of provenance: VG/EX
