Description: "Christy Mathewson Memorial" at Bucknell dedication program and Bucknell related ephemera. Original program issued for the June 5, 1928 unveiling of the "Christy Mathewson Memorial Gateway" at Bucknell University which pictures him inside and has related text. Includes a postcard which shows the gateway (unused), March 1939 "The Deltan" newsletter with Mathewson pictured on the front; and original copy of The Bucknellian newspaper from October 7, 1925 which announced Mathewson's passing (fold line down center which goes directly through the article), and November 1925 issue of "Bucknell Alumni Monthly" which was the "Mathewson Memorial Issue" (extreme wear with all pages separated and it is likely not complete). Varying degrees/types of wear throughout. Includes Mathewson Collection certificate of provenance: PR-EX
