Description: Van Lingle Mungo travel trunk with related Brooklyn Dodgers items c.1930s. Large red painted steamer style travel trunk measures 22" deep, 42" long, 22" tall. Trunk was used by Mungo to hold his baseball equipment and clothing for travel. Mungo's last name appears stenciled on one end in white paint. Includes multiple interior drawers and compartments. Shows moderate to heavy usage wear. Interesting period item that would be great for a vintage sports display. Lot also incudes Mungo's 1933 Brooklyn Robins enamelwork belt buckle, George Burke 3"x5" sepia tone photo of Mungo, Can Lingle Mungo autographed 3"x5" index card, and Van Lingle Mungo endorsed store model baseball glove by D&M: Range VG-NM
