Purple and white satin hat with velvet coated hard bill as the precise style which was worn as part of the earliest forms of baseball uniform. Fine manufacturing qualities are evident throughout including original bow on front and layered stitching to the top of the hat. General age and handling wear with no visible manufacturer's labeling.
