Description: Baseball folk art carved smoking stand c.1910-20. Hand carved and painted wooden stand features glove shaped base with ball and bat body having ashbowl on top. Total height is 23" with desirable original surface and original green/black painted rings on bat handle along with original white/red paint on the ball. Based on the few other examples that have turned up we believe this to have been carved in the upstate New York area: EX-EX/MT
