Prize fighting belt has an affixed medallion which is engraved, "1st PRIZE FOR MEN Not Exceeding 11 Stones, This Belt & 8 Guineas was wrestled for By CUMBERLAND and WESTMORELAND MEN, In London 18th Apr 1862, Won by James Scott." it is secured in a garland style enclosure on 3"x48" black leather belt which has two other decorative pieces applied (one marked "Williams & Co., 18414 Strand") and an ornate buckle.
