Description: Extremely rare Ray Brown (and others) autographed baseball - the only Ray Brown signature we have ever offered. Wilson "Professional League" baseball has been signed by (17) with the most notable among them being Hall of Famer Ray Brown. Brown played in the Negro Leagues from 1930 until 1948 with the majority of that time (1932-35, 1947-48) spent with the Homestead Grays. He lead the League in wins (8) times and helped lead the Homestead team to (8) pennants in (9) seasons. He early death in 1965 has left few examples of his autograph in circulation and this is the first which we have ever offered. His fountain pen signature appears alongside other players whom have been identified as "Puerto Rican League Legends" by James Spence Authentication and these include George Scales, Luis Arroyo, Emilio Navarro, and others. All are done in fountain pen rating 6/7 to 8 out of 10. Ball displays mild toning with some minor scattered surface wear. Includes full LOA from JSA: EX-EX/MTEstimated Price Range: ($5,000-$10,000)
