Description: Mickey Mantle photograph from the Topps Vault c.1966. Choice black and white 5"x7" bust shot of Mantle in his Yankees home pinstripes. Mounted to heavy stock back which has several notations written on (all are on the backing, none effecting the image itself) including "11/8/66" date along the bottom. Image itself is in outstanding condition, there is some light wear backing. "Topps Chewing Gum" stamp appears on the back. An included Topps Vault Certificate of Authenticity states that is an "unpublished display box Mickey Mantle photograph" presumably imply that Topps experimented with the idea of using this likeness on the exterior of their store display boxes: Overall EXEstimated Price Range: ($1,000-$2,000)
