Description: 1964 Johnny Unitas Sport Magazine "Top Performer In Pro Football" award. Wooden plaque (8"x12") has a metal plate affixed which is engraved, "Sport Magazine Award, Top Performer In Pro Football 1964, Johnny Unitas." Unitas had lead the Colts to a (12-2) record and posted some of the more impressive offensive numbers of his career. Sport Magazine was a long standing sports publication and one of the most popular produced in the era. Mild wear includes a few scuffs and scrapes and there is a very separation along a joint where two boards were glued together.
