Description: Fine 1958 Johnny Unitas Outstanding Professional Player Award (NFL Championship Season). Attractive and prestigious award presented by the Touchdown Club of Washington D.C. annually to the most Outstanding Player in Professional Football. Nicknamed as the "Timmie Award" the honor was presented to Unitas three times in his career and is highly coveted among its previous recipients including some of the greatest names in the history of the game. Walnut plinth base has inscribed brass placard to Unitas with an image of the "Timmie" football player insignia. Brass figural football finial and kicking player adorn two pedestals with columnar supports. Very well manufactured award with a few areas of surface wear, some patination to the brass placard, and few flakes from the gilt decor on football finial.
