Description: Mid to late 1970s Johnny Unitas Baltimore Colts post-career professional quality jersey. White mesh jersey has number "19" screened on the front, back, and shoulders. There is a "Unitas" nameplate on the back. Sand-Knit "Designed & Tailored Exclusively for the Baltimore Colts…" and "Size 48" tags are on the front tail. The jersey dates to after his days as a player and was presumably issued by the team for his use in or at a Colts related function. Light evident wear with a few scattered areas of discoloration. An outstanding display piece and a fine alternative to an otherwise prohibitively expensive playing days game jersey.
