Description: 1958 Billy Gardner Baltimore Orioles professional model road jersey. Grey flannel jersey retains its original "Baltimore" team name across the front with #9 on the reverse. "58 9 42" strip tag inside collar allong with appropriate Spalding tag affixed to tail front. Dry Clean tag found inside the tail area. The jersey exhibits evident use and wash wear throughout including some area of separation to the top portion of the desirable Orioles logo patch on left sleeve. Outstanding period example dating to the formative era of the team as a member of the American League with special note to Baltimore hosting the All-Star Game in 1958.
