Description: Exceptional Lenny Moore early 1960s Baltimore Colts professional model jersey - with handwritten letter from Moore. White dureen jersey with blue and white shoulder stripe accents has number "24" on front, back, and sleeves. "Bacharach Rasin" Sporting Goods tag remains on the front tail; outlines of stitching holes from the manufacturer and what was likely the wash tags can be seen (tags are no longer present). Strong usage and wash wear evident throughout with the jersey remaining in an fine overall state of preservation. Signed on the front in marker, "Lenny Moore #24" rating 7/8 out of 10. Includes a handwritten letter on Colts stationary which reads, "I hope you enjoy my Baltimore colts white game jersey worn during the early 1960s...Best Wishes, Lenny Moore." Moore was one of the key figures on the legendary Baltimore Colts' teams of the 1960s era. His accomplishments include (7) Pro Bowl selections, 1956 ROY, Baltimore Colts #24 retired, NFL 50th Anniv. All-Time team, and Pro Football HOF inductee 1975. The offered jersey must be considered to be the finest of its type with regard to condition, dating period, and most notably direct corroborated provenance from Moore himself.
