Description: 1977 Rod Carew Minnesota Twins professional model road jersey (American League Championship season). Powder blue jersey has "Twins" team name lettered across the front with number "29" below. Number also appears on back below the name, "Carew." A period team logo patch is on left sleeve. "Wilson" tag in the collar notes size (42) and an embroidered "77 2" strip on front tail denotes year and set number. Strong usage and wash wear evident throughout. Well entrenched in his Hall of Fame career, Carew earned his 6th American League batting title in 1977 along with the League's MVP Award. A choice all original example dating to one of his finest years which originates from the personal collection of former Minnesota Twins equipment manager.
