| Description: 1905 Brooklyn Superbas vs. New York Giants scorecard with Ebbets on cover. Original multi-page scorecard issued for game played at Washington Park has Charles Ebbets pictured on the cover who in the same year would purchase a controlling interest in the team. Pre-printed line-ups are scored neatly in pencil for game vs. the Giants. Iron Joe McGinnity lost an exciting game when Brooklyn scored (2) runs in the 9th. Mild toning/wear throughout with a large tear through all pages which extends 3.5" in from the left side. The first inside page has a large later period gummed stamp affixed over tear; stamps of similar size have been removed from the covers with a resulting area of residue and some very minor surface loss: Technical GD |
