Description: Atlanta Braves professional model hat with attribution to Eddie Mathews c.1972-74. White and blue Braves hat retains its original red "a" on the front and New Era tagging on the interior headband. Vintage black "41" written under the bill attributes the hat to Mathews with almost 100% surety given that no other Atlanta player ever wore that number. The hat exhibits evident usage incl. a crack to the bill and interior perspiration staining. Mathews served as a Braves manager during the time period in which this hat was worn.
